Access data (server log files)

Wendeware AG automatically collects information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us.

This includes:

- Name of the retrieved web page

- File, date and time of retrieval

- amount of data transferred

- Notification of successful retrieval

- Browser type and version

- the operating system of the user

- Referrer URL (the previously visited page)

This data cannot be assigned to specific persons and is only stored for a short time if necessary (e.g. for troubleshooting). The data will not be merged with other data sources. We use this data to fix technical problems, eliminate errors and improve our services. This is also our legitimate interest according to Art. 6 Para. 1 (f) GDPR.

In addition, no personal data is collected unless you have voluntarily decided to enter such data or have expressly given your consent (e.g. when using the contact form or when registering for the newsletter). If you make such personal data available to us of your own accord, we will use, process or pass on this data exclusively for the purpose of properly fulfilling the contract or within the framework specified by you in the declaration of consent. Otherwise, we only pass on your data to third parties if we are obliged to do so by law or by official or court orders. Such personal data, which you have consented to being stored, will only be stored for the duration of our contractual relationship or until the purpose of the data processing has been fulfilled. You can revoke your consent to the relevant data processing at any time.

data security

We will keep your information safe and will take every precaution to protect your information from loss, misuse or alteration. For this reason, your data is stored in a secure operating environment that is not accessible to the public. In addition, your personal data is encrypted during transmission using the so-called Secure Socket Layer technology (SSL). This means that communication between your computer and our servers takes place using a recognized encryption method, provided the browser you are using supports this method. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that in the address line of the browser there is “https://” instead of “http://” and by the lock symbol in your browser line.

Newsletter

You can subscribe to our newsletter on our website. We inform our customers, interested parties and business partners about new developments and our products at regular intervals.

A valid email address is required to register for the newsletter. When registering, your IP address and the date of your registration will be saved. The collection of this data is necessary in order to be able to trace possible misuse of your e-mail address at a later point in time and therefore serves our legal protection.

The newsletter can be sent via third parties, who transfer the data provided when registering for the newsletter to this third party and store it there.

The personal data collected as part of registering for the newsletter will only be used to send our newsletter. There is no transfer to other third parties. You can unsubscribe anytime. The consent to the storage of personal data that you have given us for sending newsletters can be revoked at any time. There is a corresponding link in every newsletter for the purpose of revoking consent. There is also the option to unsubscribe at any time directly at info@ wendeware.com. The data will be deleted immediately after the revocation. The legal basis for data processing for the purpose of sending the newsletter is Art. 6 Para. 1 (a) GDPR.

If you contact us, e.g. via contact form or e-mail, personal data will be collected. The contact form shows which data is collected. If you sign up for a free demo account, your name, email address and password will be stored in encrypted form to give you access.

In the case of a direct e-mail request, information about the company, name and contact details will be processed and stored. The legal basis for processing the data is our legitimate interest in responding to your request in accordance with Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR. We do not pass this data on to third parties without your consent. If your contact is aimed at concluding a contract, the additional legal basis for processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 (b) GDPR.

Your data will be deleted after your request has been finally processed if it can be inferred from the circumstances that the matter in question has been finally clarified. Otherwise, the data will be deleted 2 years after the last contact and provided there are no legal storage obligations to the contrary.
